Fillers are meant for the marionette lines
Fillers like Juvederm and Restylane are best for the marionette lines. These are hyaluronic acid fillers that can make the smile lines or lines of the mouth look much better. They "fill in" these lines so that the wrinkles and lines are smoother and much less pronounced. Botox is not meant for the marionette lines and would cause your face to droop. see video

Based on your photo, we would not be using any Botox for you.  The only time we use Botox for the lower face is when we think it would benefit a patient for smoker's lines.  We often use a combination of Restylane and a few units of Botox in the upper lip to get rid of smoker's lines, but it does not appear these are an issue for you. Benefits of Long Term Use of Botox?

 Hello, I read about the long term benefit of Botox if done continuously to get better and youthful appearance but what about the "mask face" with continuous use of Botox for long period? Shall I start using Botox early to get more benefits? Even if I only have very fine lines?

Long term use of botulinum toxin

Botox for Face Tightening?

 I had very deep acne scars, but I had a few laser treatments to treat them and they have been diminished to a point where you can barely seem them. My aesthetician suggested that I take advantage of a Botox special that they are offering during February, but I am not sure if it's worth spending money at all for it. I am looking for something to tighten my forehead and upper face. Would Botox be beneficial to me in regards to a little bit of face tightening? Or is it strictly for wrinkles only?

Botox for tightening
Botox can tighten to the extent that it can relax muscles that oppose other muscles. For example, Botox in the muscles around the eyes will relax them, causing the lateral brow to go upward because the frontalis muscle still contracts, an apparent tightening effect. A bit of an indirect answer, but that is what is going on.

Botox can prevent wrinkles but doesn't "tighten" the skin
Botox works best on wrinkles. From your photo, I don't see any "loose" skin on your forehead and upper face. If you have wrinkles in those areas, Botox works extremely well. If you are looking for ways to "tighten" the skin, then you should be researching lasers like the BBL/Skin tight laser by Sciton and other skin tightening lasers. see video

Botox recommendation for skin tightening?
The short answer is no, it does not tighten skin. I would consider a new esthetician, He/she is way off and shouldn't be making that kind of recommendation. even if it is on special. good luck

I don't see any areas Botox would work for you
You don't have any wrinkles which Botox would help from looking at your photo but you can benefit from a filler under your eyes if you wanted to do something.  Restylane or Juvederm  may help in this area. 
 

Botox for crow's feet
It is difficult to tell from the photo and, as many others have noted, your bangs are covering the brow and forehead areas which so many patients treat with Botox. You may benefit from Botox injections in the crow's feet and it is possible that you could have Restylane in the lower lid region to compensate for the early aging.

How Much Botox is Safe to Use in One Appointment?

I have finally saved up enough money for treatment of my hyperhidosis. I will be getting treatment for my underarms. I am also considering getting my forehead done at the same time. My question is getting this large amount, is it safe? Thank you for your time.

200 units is safe
Typical cosmetic uses of Botox Cosmetic uses 50 to 100 units. However, it is safe to use more Botox per session. You will be fine if you receive 200 units of Botox. We often use even more Botox for non-cosmetic (medical) conditions without any problems. Good luck with your injections.
 

Botox safety
You should have no safety concerns about this. Usually, 50 units is placed into each axilla (arm-pit) and 6-15 units in the forehead. This is well below the 2500-3000 units, which is said to be a toxic dose. I am curious, however, that you are saving up money for the procedure. Most insurance companies do cover BOTOX. They would like another treatment modality be attempted first for the control of hyperhidrosis. Usually, this means a trial with medical grade aluminum chloride or

i would imagine botox injections need to be done by doctors, but i keep hearing about nurses and others doing it...isn't botox a medical treatment that requires a doctor to administer it? who is best qualified to do botox shots?
